I'm really enjoying reading The Complete Idiot's Guide to World Mythology. I'm on African primal myths now, including a god that vomited up the sun - and I think the first man. I think.
Also, the other day (yesterday, I think), I was flipping through the index and came across the word 'Sefiroth'. So I looked it up in the book, and, according to one of the notes, there are ten holy Sefiroths and some unholy Sefiroths, too. I'm not sure if there are ten of the unholy Sefiroths or not - I can't remember.
Now, for anyone who doesn't know why I'm bringing up holy and unholy Sefiroths (or anyone who hasn't played Final Fantasy VII), allow me to explain.
Sephiroth is the villain of Final Fantasy VII. I have this weird habit of looking up the names of the Summons in a dictionary or encyclopedia to find out their meanings, so when I saw 'Sefiroth', I got excited. So far, I know for certain that Shiva is a Hindu god of destruction (although, in the Final Fantasy games, Shiva is portrayed as a female ice being), and I think Quezacotl (or Quetzacotl, according to either the encyclopedia or the dictionary) is a Mexican god. I'm still not entirely sure of the origin of Ifrit, though. Leviathan, I believe, is a being in the Bible.
I have far too much time on my hands :p
Anyways, I've been playing Final Fantasy VIII more often (this is the game after the one with Sephiroth, by the way), and I've gotten to disc 2 - or, I did, until I got my rear end handed to me by a robot!!! Anyways, I saved before the whole robot-kicking-my-ass business, so I'm good. I think I was better prepared than I was on my old file - but, I think I should buy some potions before I proceed to the bit where there's a chance of me fighting a robot again. Damn, those robots can pack a punch.
Oh yeah - and I have to remember to Junction Zell's Guardian Force before I even think about walking out of that cell.
...Yup, too much time on my hands! :p
edited to fix a slight mistake. I meant to say 'my old file', not 'my own file'.

I can't think of a title at the moment.
So here's what's gone on these past few days.
I haven't really gotten back to my algebra - the other day, I looked at the page I had to start and I just felt like throwing the book across the room. I think I'll try again Monday.
I haven't done any knitting today, but the other day I worked on the Clapotis. It's looking all right. I might work on it tonight.
I have to get to the library by Saturday - that way I have no overdue items. Surprisingly, last time I checked my account, I didn't see anything in transit. Maybe I'll go to the library tomorrow, to take back Dewey and two CDs - Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy and George Harrison's All Things Must Pass.
I am incredibly bored.

So I slept in again...
Yup, I slept in 'til quarter after 12:00.
Anyways. Here's what went on over the weekend.
Friday
Katie came over. She and Mom went to see Grandma in the hospital. I meanwhile stayed home - I think I worked on my cotton shawl. I think I'll bind off when I've used up the rest of the skein - I have more of that cotton, but I think I'll use it for something else. I was kinda ticked, because I'm pretty sure Mom said I could visit Grandma on Friday, but it didn't turn out that way.
We ordered Chinese take-out when Dad came back from picking Katie and Mom up from the hospital. When Dad picked up the Chinese food and people started loading up plates, I waited patiently in the living room until 'the horde' was done getting food. That's when all hell broke loose.
Dad: "Sam, do you want a plate or a trough (meaning a wide, shallow bowl from IKEA)?"
Me: "I'll wait until you guys are done getting food."
And then he started yelling at me about whether I wanted a plate or a 'trough', and I kept replying that I'd wait. It got to the point that he came out with a 'trough', and asked me again which I wanted, so I grabbed the 'trough' from him and yelled something like, "Fine! I'll take the bowl and wait out here!" Sometime in the whole argument he told me to give him the bowl and go to my room. I gave him the bowl and stayed where I was. I think he stormed into the kitchen, and Katie came out and did her whole stupid 'chill out' BS, and I shoved past her and went on my computer until Mom called me down to eat some dinner. She told me that Dad was acting like a spoiled brat. She was right - he was sitting at his computer, practically pouting, and when I was eating and Mom told him to get some food, he was all, "Oh, I'm allowed in there now?"
Saturday
Katie and Mom went to see Grandma again. I told Katie about how I was pissed off about me having to stay home, and she told me that Mom wasn't making me stay home. So I asked Mom if I was staying home, and she said "Sure", or something to that effect. Katie told her that I'd wanted to come, but in hte end, I decided to stay home, because Mom said that Patti was probaby going to be there - if I had gone, I probably would've slugged Patti's nasty face, since she had the nerve to not call Mom when she was supposed to.
Sunday (yesterday)
After going to church, going to Fortino's and going home to eat lunch, we went down to the hospital to see Grandma. I had looked at some photos of Grandma when we were in church, so I kinda knew what to expect.
She looked... tired. I think she liked the potted plant we gave her (call it a superstition, but I was kinda wary of giving her a potted plant, in case it would be bad luck - 'rooted in hospital'). She got a little confused and wished me a happy birthday - I think she meant to wish Breanne (who wasn't there) a happy birthday, because Breanne's a January baby. She wanted to see my healing mouth, so I tipped my head back and opened my mouth for her to look, and later she asked if my mouth was sore. It was so sweet of her. There were two other people other than Grandpa in the room - I later found out that they were Colleen and... Nick? I think? I'm not sure if they're extended family or close friends. I think I last saw Colleen at Patti's fortieth birthday party a while back. Or maybe it was another Colleen.
So anyways. Grandpa wheeled her out and around for a bit. We chatted about food (Grandma said that she didn't like the hospital chili, because it was too spicy). Mom said she might make a nice, easy-to-swallow soup for Grandma, like the carrot and ginger soup Mom makes, with about half the ginger so that it isn't too strong. Grandpa massaged Grandma. A couple of nurses helped her into bed. We chatted some more about food. Grandma tried to make a phone call, but I don't think she got through to the person she was calling. Then we left. We had Swiss Chalet take-out chicken for dinner.
Mom says we might visit her again on Wednesday. We told Stephen about our current situation with Grandma and my healing mouth, so he probably won't mind if I skip youth group. Actually, I don't think I'll be going back to youth group until the stitches in my mouth are taken out, as a safety measure, since Stone is so keen on throwing crap at me.
I slept in until, as I mentioned earlier, 12:15. I must've been tired. One thing I still haven't done is try reinstalling Human 3D. Maybe tomorrow.
So, I'm finished taking medication for my mouth! Yay! Now I don't have to get up at 8 to take medication :) I do still have to use an antiseptic rinse to clean the area, which is a bit gross, considering I have to wait half an hour to rinse with water after using the rinse, which seems to generate a lot of spit. Eww.
Mom made ham and bean soup, and pureed it. Hopefully it'll be smooth enough for Grandma to eat. It's tasty.
My cat was jumping up on my desk, CPU and monitor a lot this afternoon. Weird. I know she likes being in the highest point of the room, but come on!
Letterman's on tonight! Yay!

Another semi-productive day.
I didn't do any algebra, but I did work on my shawl, and I started the Clapotis for Grandma. I didn't read today, really - I might've tried reading a bit of The Complete Idiot's Guide to World Mythology, but I can't remember.
While I was knitting, I was watching TV. I watched The Ellen Degeneres Show at 10:00 after Maury. Then I watched The View at 11:00, then the 12:00 news, then Rosanne at 12:30, then an old episode of Gilmore Girls at 1:00. I think I started the day's knitting at 1:00. Then I put on Galaxie GoldRock, but it was boring me, so I put in season one of Black Books and continued knitting. And eating.
Speaking of eating, I ate a sandwich. Two, actually. Mom had brought up some buns that are like miniature sub buns, so I sliced one and put smoked salmon cream cheese on it and ate it by tearing chunks off and chewing. Yay! The second was one with processed cheese slices.
I think I started the Clapotis this afternoon, while I watched Black Books. So far it's going good. I like the feel of the yarn - it kinds feels like cotton, but.... stretchy.
So, I'm not even sure if I'm visiting Grandma tomorrow, because when Mom and Dad were talking about going down to the hospital tomorrow, she said something about picking her and Katie up at the hospital when they were finished visiting. Or something like that. She didn't mention me at all. I'm kinda ticked, because I feel I should visit her. Now, I'm prepared for it. I know her face may look different from the stroke. I know she might be a bit gloomy. But I think I can handle it.
I finally got to the library today. It turns out that I returned that U2 CD just in the nick of time, because I didn't have to pay a fine for it. Sweet! I picked up...
The Encyclopedia of Punk
Whole Lotta Led Zeppelin
David Gilmour: About Face (a CD)
A knitting book called Color Style
A teen book called Drop. It's about these teenagers who get involved in gambling. Looks interesting.

Howdy
I stayed in my PJ's all day :p
I got some stuff done, though - I worked on my kerchief scarf/shawl and did some laundry. In fact, I should probably check on my laundry soon, so that I remember to put my pillow in the wash.
Why does my pillow need to be washed? Well, thanks to my healing mouth, I tend to bleed a little on my pillow. It looks so gross, but it looks worse than it actually is.
Mom and Dad went to visit Grandma today. Mom decided that I shouldn't visit her right away, because she'd be tired, so I stayed home. I watched Coronation Street (it was a pretty exciting episode... one of the characters got arrested! :D), worked on my shawl (I should've cast on for Grandma's Clapotis, but I felt like working on my shawl), and did laundry. After Coronation Street and Jeopardy!, there wasn't much on TV except for The Week the Women Went on CBC, so I flipped between Galaxie music channels and listened to music while knitting and doing laundry.
Mom and Dad had left at around 6:00, and got home at around 8. Mom says that Grandpa... well, he made it sound like Grandma is doing better than she really is - sugar-coated it, I guess. Mom says I can go visit her on Friday, when Katie's here.
So we put on The Week the Women Went until Coronation Street came on a later feed, because Mom had missed it. I folded the towels that were brought up earlier, because Mom needed the hamper for her stuff - she wound up putting her stuff in the green rocking chair, though.
...There. Now my pillow's in the wash.
So, I've been a lot perkier today, which is good. I might be able to focus on my algebra tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, I have to get to the library, because one of the CDs I have out was due today. I managed to renew the two books that were also due today, though. I also have to try reinstalling Human 3D, and I have to muck around with Media Player so that I can put all of my music on that as well as iTunes. That way, I can use all of my music with Windows Movie Maker.
Today has been a better day.

More info on the tooth.
I was very upset when I posted about my tooth, so I'll try again.
When Dr. G started drilling the hole into the bone graft, a piece came out. This was because the bone graft was too thin. So, he put another, larger piece of cow bone in my mouth. It hasn't completely healed up yet, so I can't wear my flipper yet.
Because I'm on a diet of liquid and semisolid foods, I've been eating Kozy Shack rice pudding and chocolate pudding. We got it when we went to Metro, because Mom thought I'd be on soft foods after the post went in. Good thing she got it, because I'm on soft food due to a second bone graft. Yay me :p We got ginger ale recently, too - probably when Dad went to Shoppers Drug Mart to buy pop. It's a pleasant change from water, I must say - my stomach's been a bit off today, probably because I was swallowing my own blood in my sleep, as gross as that sounds.
I might go visit Grandma today, and if we have time, Mom wants the two of us to go to Second Cup to knit with the other gals. I don't have a problem with going to visit Grandma, I'm just not sure if I should go to Second Cup - I guess it would be all right, as long as I get an Italian soda and keep my mouth closed so that I don't gross people out with my awesome new bone graft. But I can't get a warm drink like white hot chocolate, because I've been trying to drink through the side of my mouth, and... well, it would be difficult. Best stick to cold drinks, since I can probably use a straw without poking my stitches.

My back is sore
I think I slept funny last night, because my back and neck are sore.
Mom made butter chicken last night. She didn't make the sauce from scratch - we bought a jar of butter chicken sauce a little while ago, so Mom used that. It was still pretty darn yummy. I think I'll have some for lunch.
So last night Mom and Dad watched the Sons of Anarchy marathon on Super Channel. I think it's still going tonight, which means I'll miss the inaugural concert thingy, but it's being replayed tomorrow and Tuesday, so that's awesome :) I can watch it after my dental appointment, if I'm home in time.
Ah yes. My dental appointment. The appointment in which I get the metal post for my fake tooth put in. Should be fun.... NOT. I'm not looking forward to being poked and prodded with pointy metal instruments while my father tells me to relax. Luckily, we got some chocolate pudding and rice pudding for after the 'big show', as Juno might put it.
I have to go get food now.

Been a little while since I've posted...
So, here's a recap.
Friday
We went out to Michaels, thinking that their sale had already started. Turns out it didn't start until today (Saturday), so I got scolded for not reading the flyer properly, and then Mom made it sound like she wasn't going to let me go back the next sale for when the sale started, like some form of punishment. I freaked out in the store, and embarassed Mom. I also tried to refuse a coupon from someone, and Mom later told me off for 'being rude'.
I wound up getting two skeins of Phentex Worsted in a pretty yellow-green colourway. It literally looks like budgie feathers. I'm going to use that to make Grandma a Clapotis.
After that, we went to PetSmart to get breath-freshening dog treats (while walking the short distance to PetSmart, Mom told me off once more for my 'defeatist attitude'). We got these treats called Blue Chews for the dogs, and while we waited in line, Mom told me that the reason why I forgot to check the Michaels flyer was because I'm under stress, and that it was 'all right'. Huh.
When we got home, Mom checked the answering machine, and there was a message from Grandpa saying that Grandma's coming back here Monday. From what I've heard, they're taking her to a hospital downtown.
Saturday
I'm in bed, and Mom asks me if I want oatmeal. I say no. Then a few minutes later, she tells me that she's printing off a Michaels coupon. Then, she asks me if I'm dressed and if I've eaten, because we're going to Michaels in, like, 15 minutes!!! I needed a shower, too, but I didn't have enough time, so I had to have a very rushed wash. Meanwhile, I was screaming at my mother, who told me to act my age or she'd leave me at home.
SHE DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME THAT WE WERE GOING RIGHT AWAY!!!!! I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT WE WOULDN'T GO UNTIL THAT AFTERNOON!!!! IF SHE'D TOLD ME THAT WE WERE GOING, I WOULD HAVE HAD A SHOWER RIGHT AWAY!!!!!
I feel better now. Almost.
So I got six skeins of Patons Decor in a pretty blue. While I was looking at the Decor, Mom asked me how much yarn I needed for the Mrs. Darcy cardigan, and I told her that I was going to use my green superwash for that. So she told me in a snarky tone, "Do you want your sweater to be Christmas green?"
I can't believe her sometimes.
We went to Giant Tiger next, where my mother actually bought these Texas Toast things. She never buys that kind of thing - jalapeno pepper poppers, yes. Pop Tarts, sometimes. But never something like frozen Texas Toast things. She also got her favourite chips while Dad kinda wandered off, and she told me to go with him and wait for her while she got them. I told Dad that she was getting her chips, and he got ticked that she wasn't getting his chips. And when he told her that much, she got pissed off. Long story short, he got a bag of barbecue, a bag of salt and vinegar and a bag of plain. Halle-frickin'-lujah.
Then it was off to Metro to buy more groceries, and where Mom got pissed off again. Grocery shopping with her can be so fun.
When we got home, I ate a sandwich, then I dried dishes for Dad while we complained about Mom. You know, some days I'm mad at my dad and complain about him with my mom, other days it's vice versa. This was one of the vice versa days.
I get the metal post for my tooth put in on Monday. Whoo-hoo. I hope Dr. G has me hopped up on plenty of drugs.

So here's what's new.
1. We got a phone call from Uncle Brent on Monday - Grandma had a stroke. I wasn't expecting this, but it didn't surprise me that much, because her health isn't the best - she had been sick quite a bit as a child, so that must have taken it's toll on her. Grandma and Grandpa are in Arizona at the moment, so none of us can visit her - Aunt Patti's flying down to see her, but hey, good for her. We don't have the money to fly down, so...
2. I found out last night that a girl in one of AJ's classes got hit by a car. She's in the hospital with a broken pelvis and brain trauma. It could have been prevented if the superintendent hadn't cut door-to-door school bus service for kids in the magnet program, because she was trying to catch a MARTA bus when she was hit. I found out from my mom that they did the same thing here, with our gifted program, making kids either take public transit or have someone drive them, so when my sister was in middle school, my mom had to drive her.
3. It's so cold, and my mom's so exhausted from the news of Grandma's stroke, that she's not sure if we'll get to the knitting meet-up at Second Cup tonight. I'm not too bothered about it, though, because of the current situation...
4. The cat has taken an interest in stealing my flipper (removable fake tooth), so now I have to snap the lid of the case down and put it up on the shelf so that she stays out of it.
5. On the upside, I reorganized my yarn stash so that my acrylic and acrylic-and-wool blend yarn are seperate from my 100% natural fibre yarns, like my green aran superwash. I still have to move my novelty yarn into a better bin, but the bin I want to use is drying in the laundry tub.
6. Also on the upside, Max has invited me and a bunch of other people over to his house later in the month to watch episodes of Firefly back-to-back :)

Getting better
I had a headache this morning/afternoon, though, which was annoying. I was pretty tired earlier, too, so when I was doing biology I felt like crap. Then I opened the writing program on my computer to read the bit about writing a resume, then I watched Let's Learn Japanese on YouTube. I was so groggy that, when I needed to click on the link to part 2 of episode 9, I accidentally clicked on a link for a part of episode 8. Yes, I was that tired.
I'm better now, though. I didn't do any algebra, but I got a tiny bit of writing done, and I read the first chapter of Dewey: the small-town library cat who touched the world. It's quite good thus far.
I hope I'll be okay to go to the knitting meet-up this week...
One more thing - we're going for burgers tonight! YAY!

Could it get any worse?
My day was going okay. We went to the library (was pissed me off was that I was having trouble getting out of the car, and my dad just walked on), then we went to Michaels again (and, again, I didn't get anything), then we went home.
But, when I was making my bed, I realized that a dog had urinated on it.
Mom said, "Well, I said that Teddy needed out...", and I told her, "Well, I was on my computer, wasn't I?!" I'm not sure who urinated on my bed, but whoever did managed to piss on my wool blanket. Oh, fun. And I couldn't put any of the blankets in the wash right away because His Highness had laundry in. Even more fun. And I got it a shouting match with him over it. He told me that my matress didn't need vinegar put on it because it was dry! Well, here's some news for you, sunshine: dog piss doesn't have to be wet to smell like dog piss. So I dabbed it with a piece of paper towel with vinegar on it to disguise the scent, so that hopefully, hopefully, it doesn't get pissed on again.
...Well, I'm back from putting my mattress sheet and flannel blanket in the dryer and putting my douvet in the wash. I don't think I'll bother washing the douvet cover, since I don't desperately need it to keep warm overnight. I'll probably be up all night washing and drying everything... I could have had it done sooner if I had paid attention to the buzzer...
On top of all that, I think I have a cold AND a coldsore-of-sorts on the side of my tongue. Oh, what fun indeed! You see, Emma said at youth group that everyone in her year at her high school seems to be sick, and Emma and Micaela not only go to the same school, but they're both in the same year. Micaela was coughing at youth group - she said she felt fine before she came, and only just started coughing when she came to the meeting, so she might have picked up the cold. So my throat is sore, I feel like I have a slight fever (my face is warm, but Mom says it's not too warm), I have that annoying coldsore thing on my tongue - or maybe it's a blister? I seem to be prone to blisters on my feet and tongue, so that's quite possible. I also still have a headache from the weather changing (stupid snow...), and I'm dopey from the sore throat/not-quite-fever combination.
And I still have an acrylic crocheted afghan (made by my mom when I was younger! :) ) and a wool blanket to wash.
I did, however, watch Stepmom with Mom, which was nice. I ripped out my soon-to-be pouch because I realised that, the way I was making it, the edges would curl, so I re-started it with curl-proof edges.
Time for some more psychedelic music...

Grah.
I have a headache :(
Oh, and if I see one more TV show with Howie Mandel on it, I'll go insane. My dad's crazy about Deal or No Deal, for some strange reason. I don't understand the appeal - all it is is roulette with cases instead of a wheel.
Plus, I couldn't get to the library because I was told that I 'can go to the library tomorrow'. Thanks, Mom, now I'll have to pay fines on New Moon and 50 Women Artists You Should Know. Or whatever the book is called.
And I still have to wash some jeans.
On the upside, I started making a pouch for my new stitch holders :D It's only less than an inch long at the moment.
And I'm listening to Van Morrison - his music is nice to listen to, especially in my current condition. Not too heavy on the bass. I might just burst into song any minute now.
Well, I'm off to go take another Aspirin. I could have taken one at 7:00, but I forgot.

Pros and cons of tonight's youth group meeting.
Pros
1. Micaela was there. She made me laugh, as always - at one point, she suddenly starting singing softly, "Every sperm is sacred..." from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life which I still haven't seen.
2. We got to have ginger ale and root beer.
3. Elyssa showed us this funny video of her and her mom and someone else (I think it was a friend of Elyssa's) dancing to a Leona Lewis song.
4. Someone had written my name on the wall in chalk, but Jeff let me rub it out and re-write it myself :) They had painted the wall around the door black, so everyone wrote their names on part of it. The top and bottom parts of the right wall were painted black, too, and the top part had 'The Loft' written on it.
Cons
1. People were throwing food again.
2. Stone threw a damp cloth at me 'by accident'. Yeah, right.
3. Riley didn't come.

I slept in again.
That's right. I slept in once more. But this time, I did a bit of biology (ball-and-socket joints FTW!!!) and watched an episode of Let's Learn Japanese. I had to skip an episode, because one episode was badly synched - the vocal track was ahead of the video track. Weird.
I feel bad because I never did any algebra. Maybe I'll do some later. I might also switch books for English, because I don't think I want to read I Am Rembrandt's Daughter at the moment - I still haven't finished the first chapter - or is it a prologue? Oh, I don't know. Anyways, my point is that I've only read about two or three pages. Maybe I'll try finishing Howl's Moving Castle, or maybe I'll start Terry Pratchet's first book - I loved watching Hogfather, so I think I'll like his books. I know Holly loves his books, and we have very similar taste in literature.
Speaking of Holly, I never did hang out with her before Christmas - I never got around to asking her about it, because we had family coming to visit, and I forgot to talk to Holly about going to Tim Horton's for a coffee/tea or something. Damn. Maybe we can go shopping over the summer.
So anyways. I have to find a world history book to use instead of relying on my world history program on the DVD-ROM (we were going to get a world history book at Indigo, but mom didn't think it was good enough).
I assume that there's a youth group meeting tonight, as I haven't gotten an e-mail saying that it's cancelled. Should be interesting.
Oh yeah. The knitting meet-up thing at Second Cup was pretty cool. They seem like a cool bunch of folks. The first knitter that arrived was someone who does loom knitting, and two folks were sewing. It turns out that I didn't look like a complete noob with my garter stitch triangle, so that's pretty awesome.

Do homeschoolers need late notes?
In a sense, I was late to biology yesterday morning :p
Actually, my study schedule is working well, even though I had a killer headache yesterday (probably from the weather). Here's what I did yesterday:
1. For biology, I read some of the text pages in my Human 3D computer program, looked at some pictures of bones and cartilage, and looked at some animations.
2. For world history, I read a timeline of North American history, using the world history program on my DVD-ROM. I'd like to find some good world history books, though, because while the program is good, it's only a brief and somewhat eclectic collection of timelines and such.
3. For Japanese, I watched Let's Learn Japanese on YouTube.
4. After lunch, I did half a page of polynomials.
5. For English, I read a bit of I Am Rembrandt's Daughter, but only a couple of pages.
6. Art - started making a garter stitch square, which I will turn into a rabbit. Part of a KAL :)
7. Creative Writing - worked on one of my stories, but I didn't get that much done :(
Today hasn't been as productive. So far, I've worked on one story and mucked about in Photoshop. Mind you, I did go on a 'field trip' to Michaels :D I didn't get any yarn, but mom got some yarn for a project she has in mind. Next time, I'll make a list of what I need, because there's a baby blanket I want to try making, and it calls for Lion Brand Vanna's Choice Solid.
So, I'm going to a knitting meet-up tonight at Second Cup :) Only problem is, the only project that I can take with me without lugging a pattern around is my soon-to-be shawl, which is just a garter stitch triangle. I'm gonna look like a total noob. I'd love to take my Opera Glove with me, but then I'd have to take the pattern with me, and probably my knitting pouch with my tape measure in it. And the baby cardigan is a bit much to take with me, because I have to take the pattern and some stitch holders with me. I'd rather finish that cardigan at home. So I guess I'll take the giant triangle, and hope to God/Goddess that no one's knitting lace at Second Cup!

Here's what else I did today.
I put the rest of the CDs I got for Christmas on my computer - Eric Burdon and the Animals, Joan Jett, Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen and Steppenwolf. I have other CDs - my jazz CDs, a Barenaked Ladies album, and the Aladdin soundtrack - that aren't on my computer, but I don't know if I'll rip 'em or not.
I also chatted with Max on MSN. When I told him how Windows Movie Maker wasn't letting me import music from my iTunes library, he said something like, "Don't talk to me about there being something wrong with your computer, because it'll make me want to fix it." It was kinda funny. I think the reason why it wasn't letting me import the songs that are in iTunes is because those songs weren't in Media Player. Hmm.
I still have to go over my algebra. And tomorrow's Monday! EEP!

The Weekend Thus Far
So, here's what I've accomplished so far...
1. I made room for my new shirts. Weird thing is, a shirt that I've had since I was about 7 or 8 years old still fits! It's a Northern Getaway shirt. I think their clothes are oversized and meant to be layered or something.
2. I took some kids' books out of one of my bookcases and I now have a pile of crafting books in it's place. My new knitting books will be in that pile.
3. I talked to my neighbour, but the job she offered me - watering her plants while she's away - has been given to someone else. Oh well.
4. I started a summer booklist, but I haven't put much on it. haha. Maybe I'll work on it some more today.
I looked over my study schedule, but I'm going to tweak it today. I still haven't sorted out my yarn, or gone over my algebra.

3. Put the finishing touches on my study schedule.
4. Put together a booklist for the summer.
5. Wash the rest of my new clothes.

I want to knit Roger Hodgson a sweater :p
More on that later :)
First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I spent New Years Eve watching the Best of Just for Laughs special, then the Royal Canadian Air Farce's finale, then a bit of Ron James' stand-up special, then I went on my computer. While watching all that, I ate a bit of calamari, a few of these chocolate-covered caramels with sea salt on them (they actually taste better than they sound!), then some butter puff biscuits that we got at the British imports shop. Then at 11:00, we put it on the local station to watch their New Years Eve program live in Niagara, in which Roger Hodgson, formerly of Supertramp, performed! I missed most of 'Give a Little Bit', though, because I was in and out of the living room. But he was still as awesome as ever. He was cracking jokes about the cold weather - it was so cold that the saxophonist's saxophone was squeaking! Roger himself said, "My guitar is saying, 'What are you doing to me?'", and "This'll be the out-of-tune version of 'School'." He's quite cheeky. There's a video on YouTube of him performing 'Easy Does It', in which he whistles, and the audience was whistling along with him, and he would suddenly stop, and wave his hands to stop the audience's whistling... it's hilarious.
Here's the video of him singing 'Easy Does It', which was from a gig in 2000. It's pretty quiet, so make sure your volume is turned up.
So anyways. I want to knit him a sweater. When my mom saw my Facebook status, which said that I wanted to knit him a sweater, she said that he needs gloves - fingertip-less ones, so that he can play the guitar and the piano! I think she's right - maybe I'll make him a pair of Knucks with 'rock' on one hand and 'roll' on the other!
So, if you're somehow reading this, Mr Hodgson, I think you need a nice sweater and fingerless gloves for playing music in the cold winter air. You probably aren't reading my blog, but if you are by any chance, um, I really like your music - I haven't heard any of your solo stuff, but I'm a huge Supertramp fan :)
I know that sounded silly, but hey, he might just come across my blog someday... :)
