Peculiar Saturday

Very peculiar indeed. I didn't wake up until 11-ish, and I didn't come upstairs until noon-ish.

Yesterday I got a tiny cut on my finger. I think I had tried to move the kitchen faucet, and there's a little raised bit on the faucet that got my finger. Ouch.

Also yesterday, I did a lot of laundry. I washed not only clothes but also bedding and my pillow. Mom and I had a huge fight over the pillow because I washed it on it's own and it didn't drain properly, so it was dripping when I took it out. Mom assumed I was putting it in with other stuff. So she decided to put it in on the final spin cycle. Grr.

It got really fluffy, though! :)

Did I mention that YouTube is working now? It was being weird because they were doing updates. The strangest thing, though, is that Dad didn't have any trouble with YouTube. Huh.

So, I'm really enjoying We're Going to See The Beatles!. I've taken a break from A Freewheelin' Time, because it's a bit of a difficult read sometimes. I really haven't been reading much fiction, actually. I reserved New Moon, though. I hope it's better than Twilight.

That reminds me, I made another avatar that mocks Edward Cullen! It reads: "My dog demon is hotter than your VAMPIRE!!!" I would've included a photo of Sesshomaru, but I can't figure out how to use Photoshop :p

I think I'll go watch InuYasha on YouTube :)

Late night reading

Either late last night or early this morning I read Twilight and listened to The Legends of Classic Rock. Normally it's on Sunday nights and replayed on the following Saturday morning, but last night/this morning, they played parts one and two of the Pink Floyd story to honor Richard Wright's life.

Once again, the music fit well with the story. I was reading the part where Bella and Edward are eating dinner at the Italian restaurant. I normally don't read at night, but I decided to try aiming my flashlight at one spot so that I'd have enough light. It worked. I had enough light to read by, plus I had my duvet over me to keep me warm. The music soothed me, too.

I'm kinda mad at myself because I didn't pick up the phone in time a moment ago. I had music on up here and didn't here the phone ringing until it was on the last ring and going to the answering machine. Luckily, it was just the library.

I think I'll go heat up some leftover pasta that I spied in the fridge. 'Scuse me.
